Yep, the delivery from blankdiscshop is by courier which is why it costs a little more. I buy quite a lot from them, and the P&P is the same price for up to 10KG, so not a problem for me.The Hama player that calibrax spotted at blankdiscshop seems to cost £25.27 when you include delivery to a UK mainland address. https://www.mymemory.co.uk do their own brand (which fwiw has a part aluminium case - the Hama is all plastic) for £17.99 + £2.95 delivery = £20.94.
The player on mymemory.co.uk does look nicer, but there's no mention of headphones being included - do you know if it comes with them?

Many thanks - it was doing my head in trying to work out what it was!

Thanks for asking - it was like the king's clothes in the fairy tale - I never liked to ask.
BTW, what do all those flags up the left hand side of the page mean?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

The flags denote how many responses a topic has had. Look at the bottom of the topic listing pages for a key.0 -

Sorry I haven't replied sooner - took Sunday off from Money Saving - there's probably no hope for me!!
Yes, the MyMemory player comes with earphones integrated into a sort of harness / necklace affair, so that it dangles from your neck rather than direct from your ears. Pack also includes a battery, installation disk for pre-W2k computers and a USB connector.
Kind regards

Mine arrived here's a mini-review. First looks, well it feels cheap alright a sort of velvety plastic and "made in China" label stuck on slightly askew. Paradoxically the packaging has an expensive feel to it quite a nice cardboard box with lid that slams shut.
Package contains player, battery, headphones, driver CD, USB cable, and instruction leaflet. Headphones look ordinary so left them in the bag and used my normal ones.
Fitted 128MB MMC card and connected player to XP Home and it "just worked", eventually showing up as an E: drive. Copied on a mixture of threez either 128 or 192 kbs. Sound is OK for price, certainly fine for casual listening on train or whatever. There is an equalizer with a few presets, some basic controls like play/stop/next. It doesn't read ID3 tags so doesn't display the name of the songs on the screen.
So only basic functionality and it's no fashion accessory but I just want some music on my boring walk to work and overall am well pleased.I ♥ MSE0
