O2 and 0800...included or not?

I know someone who is looking for a replacement for his Orange contract as his free 0800 is being withdrawn.
He absolutley must have 0800 numbers included in his free package at a minimum (for the avoidance of doubt, inclusive 0800 is not the same as free 0800 as it depletes your free minutes and becomes chargeable once your free minutes are used up)
Anyway, to cut to the chase I notice that there is a lot of talk about O2's inclusion of 0870 and 0845 numbers in their tariffs - however, only one or two people have mentioned 0800. I think it's time I put together a poll to confirm whether 0800 is included with O2's tariffs and, if so, which tariffs it's included with (there's some debate regarding whether or not it's currently an across the board feature of their tariffs or not)
So...if you have a contract with O2 and have used 0800 numbers in the past, I'd be interested to hear where you purchased your contract and whether or not you were charged for your 0800 calls.
cheers,
RM

I purchased from a CPW-owned company. 0800 numbers are included in my free minutesI have 02 online, o2 in shop, o2 via dealer & CPW o2 contracts !!!!
anyway believe 0800 are taken from inclusive minutes ( although they seem to get you to drop the first 0 )
in fairness I rarely need to call a 0800 when not at near a landline - so don't do it very oftenAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
Most people who have got Landline Minutes can call 0800/0808/0500 numbers out of those minutes by using Pre-Dials little known dial through access numbers
0200 222 0700/0900
Their are no networks, now that Orange have pulled the plug that include them as free to call in their packages. O2 do of course include calls to them in some of their inclusive minute packages.PF.0 -
I've noted the limitations raised regarding disallowing multiple choices. It's too late to change that now - However, as it's not the type of poll where percentages matter I guess it's not too much of a limitation.
All we need to do is build up enough evidence that 0800 either is or is not included in your free minutes from each of the four channels identified. To this end, if you have had multiple O2 contracts, answer the poll based on the contract for which the relevant sales channel has currently polled the least votes.
On this basis, it would be nice to hear from more people who have O2 contracts purchased via the following channels:
(a) Online tariffs direct from O2
(b) via a Carphone Warehouse owned retailer (E2Save, OSPS, CPW etc...)
as these sales channels are currently under-represented in the poll.

BUMP!
While there is an obvious pattern forming here, a couple of options could still do with a few more votes...
