So nice to hear that some positive things are happening for you.I'm so happy for you.
I'm sure he won't have to wait long for the hospital.
    Hope the earache improves.

    Hi all :)

Woken up with bad ear pain again - 5th day of my antibiotics as well. Not sure if they're going to work!!

Got lots to do today and also to entertain the kids and play with them etc.
    • marking - yr 11 essays
    • washing -arghh!! Full pile up - just need to collect it all, bed linen included.
    • Ironing. Nuff said!
    • Write letters to thank for various things - x3
    • Study a little - at least organise folder
    • Kids rooms - tidy - not too mess, just put away clothes and that.
    • Research wireless, laptop prices etc - will explain later.
    • investigate new price plan from t-mobile - got a shocking one right now.
    • collect dvd player from bf's
    • put clothes away!
Not too bad. Just waiting for painkillers to kick in now.

Re finances - things plodding on - need to have another review with CCCS - so need to update tax credits so that's accurate. The debts are coming down - but my divorce will be finalised over the next few weeks so then I'll have the legal bill to deal with :( so I'm not sure how that'll affect the debt situation tbh.

I'm also starting an OU course in February - really really excited about it!! It's an undergraduate first year course, but I need to go back to basics for my own confidence really. I drank throughout my first time at uni and would love to actually give something a good go! I'm paying for it through tesco vouchers and also some money I got as inheritence - money I have been told to spend on myself and def not on debts!!! :T Happy to oblige!! Asking for the course books for christmas so that shoudn't cost anything.

As for Christmas, got lots of presents already - got Will's Christmas pressie - £20 on Thomas thingy - and just have to get a few more bits, but charity shops are proving very useful!!

I need to start really checking what I spend on frippery as it's got out of hand. I think I'll have to start a spending diary to see where it all goes. The CCCS have given me a generous budget for groceries but I manage to fritter it away terribly. So that's a real area to work on now.

my stratchcards site closed down so I guess I need to sign up to another one - any recommendations? And what's BB??? :D

Hope you are all having a good Sunday :)

Re BB - have a look at page 86 of my diary and there is an explanation there.

For a scratch site, sign up to butlins or littlewoods bingo and they will have a daily scratch there - but just do one unless you want the chance of being closed down for multi account abuse......but you can also do virgin bingo as it is a different server......they tend to pay a little more each day, and you can withdraw at £5 rather than the £10 that the others require, so you can get to cash in quite regularly.

Hope that the earache abates soon - it really is a miserable pain, and well done on taking the plunge with the OU, and in such an MSE way too :T

    Hi Sea
I'm loving your diary already! Sounds like you've had a good day so far. Definitely go for BB, I've had a few nice wins on there and will be miserable when my free bonuses dry up....
All the best with it - I'll keep popping in :)

Just rang TalkTalk who have taken over my Tiscali account and managed to get the same as I've got now with wireless instead (free router and that) for just £1.24 a month. Really pleased about that :) So I guess I've don something MSE today!

Will go investigate the BB and new scratch card site now. Thanks you!!

Right, with regards to my to do list -
going to do ironing when the kids go down - will watch tv while doing it I think!! :)
Will mark essays then too. Wil try and put away as many clothes as I can, but kids will hopefully be sleeping so I'll just sort it ready to go into their rooms. Oh darn!! Just realised Sophia hasn't done her homework. That to do before their bath then!
