Sea, it sounds really, really risky having this man in your life just now. Noone can tell you what to do but do listen to the inner voice of common sense and make sure you are making the right decisions for you. His problems are his problems and you can't solve them for him.

thanks for support - I'm feeling a little brighter now- we've talked for about an hour and things are better for now. I'm taking it a day at a time, and will have to see how things pan out.

On a brighter note- been wrapping pressies for the kids tonight :) THey are getting really excited! They were both out for hours today throwing snowballs and were exhausted at bedtime, which made for a rather tearful time but quickly asleep.

Feeling positive about money situation for the coming year - things should be tight, but good and hopefully I can clear that pesky barclaycard sharpish. I need to be aware that holidays and the like are not 'rights' and are a luxury that may have to go for now, but they will come back when debt free, and that needs to be a priority!! :D

The charity shopswere fabby! Got some great stuff and still havemoney in my purse and didn't have to go to the cash point at all - wooo! :D

Still got to get my mum a slocooker, but apart from that all done and dusted :) Oh and a bit of wrapping too of course lol.

Just sitting with a cuppa now, browsing the boards but need to do an hour's clean of the house- hoovering mainly and preparing for my mum coming as well as making it cosy and homely for christmas :)

Going to make cakes with the kids later when they get back from their dad's and then take them round the neighbours- we did it 2 years ago and it was great- too much of a mess last year so I want to establish a tradition with the kids - hopefully they'll enjoy it!!

oh and BB ran out yesterday - won £10 on my lastday so that's £88 profit in all and it came at the perfect time!! :D

    Morning all

A lovely day yesterday - bit sad when kids went and again when ex rang to tell me William has nits and then to wish kids goodnight - it was 6.15pm !!!!!!. Theday was great though - lovely morning, apart from Sophia turning to the dark side with low blood sugar and then with very green eyes for William's presents! They did very well for pressies though!! So did my mum and bf :) I gotsome lovely presents too - am blessed. Got pressies from the kids via ex which was unexpected and nice.

MUST resist the sales - getting emails thick and fast. Am going Christmas 2010 shopping later in the month, but have a budget for that.

Went to my meeting last night which was great!!

    Much loveto you all

glad you had a good christmas hope you have a great new year. You could always make it a rule, that sale shopping had to be money neutral ie you had to sell things to make room so to speak.....
