I am so pleased Waterlilyann it is such a lovely feeling to be moving into a house you like. We are moving into the village next to the one I grew up in. Our house will need some work if ever we can afford it.
I took Nick for a ride and told her about you all. She was feeling better after an eye infection and major fly bites last week (bought £100 fly rug to save her) so she was in a good mood. Had a lovely canter through the trees.
Germany won the footie, thank heavens!

Hi everyone,
I've not looked in this part of the site before tonight, but this thread struck a bit of a nerve! I've read back through most of it, and identify with a lot of it. I cut myself off from most of my friends a while back when I was going through some stuff and haven't really made contact again. Not sure I want to. Anyway, you all seem friendly!
whatamess, I live close to you according to your avatar location. If you like, you could pm me, we could have a chat and maybe meet for a coffee or something one day?? (I think this thread inspired me to post that, I'm not normally that brave)

We managed to spend our entire food shopping budget this week on booze. OH was using the puppy dog eyes and saying it was his birthday......Oh well we'll be eating out of the freezer this week. He's on strick instructions that we will only buy bread and milk. Of course I'll do my best to make the bread.:D"A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0 -

Welcome peachpickle and well done you! Coffee and a good chat with good company cant be beaten!
Dee, I think it was willfrnch that started the BB thread (but I could be wrong with my pants memory!). Got some funny pics to post on there later. Did your pic work in your post??
CG, strawbs are gorge. Very juicy and they taste like strawberries. Plums are draining, theyre next! (well some of them) I'm a bargain maniac - I wont pay full price unless I absolutely have to. I figure, I work v hard for my cash so I dont give it away easily. Rooting for you with those reports, sending some bouncy energy. Had to do reports on my 14 staff (with the usual mad civil service red tape) - nightmare. Evenings and weekends disappeared. Feel for you CG, reward yourself when you finish
