  • Right then....

I've only read about 5 of the 62 pages on this thread....although there seems to be lots of supporting going on!!!

Thought i'd throw my hat in the ring...

I'm a 25 yr old laddie from the West Mids...after a number of long (ish) term relationships (from 1 yr to 3 yrs), have recently been thrown back onto the open market!

Problem - i've spent so much time giving 110% to the relationships i've neglected my friends, and find myself in a pretty lonely boat.

Job is great, home is good (although saving like mad to join the ever-wobbly property ladder) - but don't enjoy being home alone when i'm so used to having company and someone to care for!

Tryin to work out how to meet new mates - I'm not exactly shy but not the worlds most outgoing person - where to start?!?!

So I thought i'd say hi!

laddie - another Scot? :D lol

i know what you mean - ive also put 110% in to relationships, lost friends etc... but ive realised that if a person is a true friend, they will be happy for you..... the problem is knowing when you are givign too much attention to the bird and not to your friend.

and as for how to meet new mates cos your not outgoing... join the club - thats me in a shell basicly lol - i dont go to clubs, dont mix, cos i like ma own company more than strangers :p - ahh, the internet, good thing isnt it lol.

welcome to the group though - were a friendly bunch - i was made welcome, you are anaw :)
