Will an o2 online simplicity sim work in an i-phone ?

will everything work all right on the iphone (ie net, mms etc ) if i buy a pay & go one.

looking like the better option atm , as o2 are offering nothing in an upgrade.

Yes it will work, you wont have Wi-fi, visual voicemail and call merging but otherwise it will work fine.

if you pay for wifi, or use wifi at your own home/office then you will have wifi...

Yes it will work but as iwantttosave has said you will not have all the iphone features enabled which are useful. You will not get the unlimited roaming 3G wifi that comes with iphones as standard. You will of course to be able to pick yup your own Wireless interent connection at home or work so you can surf the web. Hope that helps

the free wifi bit doesn't bother me as much , it's more the mobile web, just making sure that bolt on would work with it.

unlimited roaming 3g wifi? what is that.. i don't even get that on my proper iPhone contract.. All I get is wifi when in a BTOpenZone or Cloud network, that isn't 3g wifi, it's just wifi, that isn't roaming, it's just in the UK. Unlimited, yes it is, but I hardly use it..

Back to the topic in hand.

You might have to change the settings within the iPhone for the web bolt on to work, but there shouldn't be a reason why it won't work.

Tomorrow 02 will be launching there new iPhone simplicity plans not sure what they will be but my guess his the standard tariff less £15 a month
