    You neglected to Remove Selected at the end of the Malwarebytes AntiMalware scan. Reboot when done and start in Normal Mode and run another Malwarebytes Full Scan.

    Done that just before i left, i am now back at home but my daughter has registered with this site, so she will have to sort it out herself(i hope)

    How would she re-format the system?

    She had a problem not so long ago & re-installed the operating system with the help of a techie helpline because she could'nt find the original disc.

    Well you cant reinstall an operating system if you dont have an operating system at hand to put on. So id assume she never actually did then
    Most computers these days come with 'backup' discs ~ meaning if she were to put that backup disc in and boot from it you should be able to get the computer back to exactly how it was from the day she bought it

    For now though its clearly better to continue on the path of trying to get things as good as we can
