Nokia N70 - software problems?

Three people that I know are having problems with their Nokia N70's. One guy is on his THIRD phone, and the other two report the phone turning itself off randomly, getting a dark blank screen and getting messages stating the phone memory is full when it isn't. It has to then be truned off and back on to reset the problem. Sounds like more testing should have been done before the phone was punted out...
...and then the window licker said to me...

I normally upgrade to a phone that's been out for about a year. I let other people test out the new ones first saves me the hassle
JoeYou can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.0 -
to be honest there were loadsss of complaints when the phone first came out, now not too many, so some of the bugs may be fixed, but i still wouldnt trust it! crap phone from the start. go for maybe the 6280 if you get it from orange the ones they have arent the same as most, they delayed the launch of the phone to get rid of all the bugs so theoretically they shouldnt have any probs or very few, or maybe the n80 - nice phone better than the n70 but hasnt been out for too long so dont know about any bugs yetYes Your Dukeiness0

They didn't delay the phone to get rid of bugs, they delayed it to put their own bugs on - ie the Horrible orange homescreen! :mad:Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
