Hi guys,
Having a little trouble finding the HSBC hardship phone number. The one they give you after you fill in and send off one of their forms so that basically they can go through all the details again and you can finally get some money back.
Can someone put it up for me?

I did back in August and got some money back off them. I haven tbeen in difficulty since then, but this month they took anoth £150 of charges out and so i will go about the same amount over my limit next week when my rent is due.
I'm hoping i can just ring the number again and skip the letter stage as i've already applied under hardship once and I was told to just ring up each time from now on.0 -

I would complete another one or have one ready when you ring up so that you know what they are completing.0 -

I dont know how old that info is but that number is a bust!
It's just the normal customer services number and i ended up having to type in god knows how many different key combinations to get through to someone. As soon as i did, they then transfered me to their NEW Financial Hardship Team!!
What a crock!
I got stuck on the phone with some idiot who was blatantly reading off a script because she repeated my own question back to me before reeling off the pre-written reply (which she said word for word again later on).
Long story short, i'm going to have to send in another letter repeating everything i wrote only a few months ago, and wait a week.
The damn operator spent 10 minutes spelling out the entire address to me. I wish i could charge the banks for wasting MY time.0 -
I had all these problems with HSBC.
Started with letters, they ignored them.
Called them up, got put through to someone who offered me a loan, within 5 mins (I kid you not!) Rejected this loan, and was told someone was going to call me from the financial hardship team.
Someone called from that department, and suggested I get in contact with the reclaiming department (although no number was given, was just told to ring the main number)
Sent another letter (a bit more threatening this time) saying I would report them to all manner of people if they weren't going to reply to me.
They finally sent a letter back *DEMANDING* I called their financial hardship reclaim people, but thankfully also included the number! (I believe it was the same number a previous user gave you). Was funny to read the letter, after countless attempts to get through to the right department they had the nerve to demand I call them!
All counted for nothing as the snotty and not partially pleasant lady who I spoke to said I didn't fall into financial hardship and I'll (in her words) 'have to wait until the court case is over'0 -

I have asked HSBC to confirm that the information given to me less than 6 months ago is still up to date so apologies if it isn't but did you quote LCC01?0
