Escaping 3 for business contract...

Hi all,

I wonder if you might have any ideas on how we can get out of a horrid position we've found ourselves in. My business partner and I moved our mobiles across to 3 for business in January year and to cut a long story short, it has taken them til October to sort out their billing mistakes, we've always had connection issues and now we cannot use the handsets at all. Apparently, the masts in the areas in which we each live are down and this is why we can neither make nor receive calls or use data. We both live in major cities in the north and south. There is no fix date for when this will be rectified but basically we can't run our business properly on an indefinite basis, at least not if we want to live in our houses OR pay 3 £400 to exit the contract.

They argue that it is in their terms that there could be disruption in some areas at any time so we would have to buy our way out. Partly I am posting this as a warning - do not even consider going with 3 for Business, it is shocking. But I would also much appreciate thoughts on how we might get out of this one...

Many thanks,

Anita

Have you considered contacting someone like CAB, as if signal is lost for an extended time in the area you planned to use it when original purchased, then you can cancel as you are paying for a service they are failing to provide.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies
