Can't fault them. Be sure to check out the referrals board to get an introductory bonus too.

You can make the first deposit via BACS.

    Hi kjm,
Be careful to use the correct BACS details. Ring Investecf to get a temp sort code/account number and put as the reference: 'new account - kjmtoday' (but your real name!')

You can contact them any time after the account is open to add a referrer's details.

For future BACS transfers once your account is open you use your actual account number.

I've been looking on the Investec site and looking at the High 5 account but can't see the answer to my questions. I can see that I'd need to give three month's notice to withdraw money from the account, but what about closing the account, does the same still apply?

So it's an 'ongoing' account - no fixed term?

    Exactly.

You'll need to give 3 months notice to close it, counts as a withdrawal.

Does this account give you an option to receive interest monthly or is it only added annually? I'm fed up with looking for other options when fixed term bonds expire and wonder whether this account would work as a substitute.
