Looks like it. They range in price from a couple of quid (on ebay) to very expensive!

I'd go down the cheap route (on ebay). Others might not though.

Mine did not come with an HDMI cable, it came with component (i.e. standard definition cable). ANY HDMI cable will work, however I went for a better spec, see here > http://ukhdmi.com/hdmi-ikuna.php

My XBox Super Elite came with Forza3, 250GB hard drive and AA batteries for the game controller, it would be a bummer if you forget to check and give a present which cannot be used The etherhet cable can be used to connect to the internet, but only via a router or a internet enabled PC lap top.

You may want to consider a wireless adapter? >

HDMI is HDMI (well nearly but lets not get bogged down in tech specs)

just select silver when setting up the xbox for live and you will get a month free gold
so no need to get one just yet
there will be batteries for the controller in the box

@ missile,you mean composite cable as the component cable(now not included) is HD
