Re charges on loan

Sorry forgot to ask on old post. can i claim back charges on an old loan i had as have written to them asking for refund and they have replied that the charges were legally,blah, blah, blah!
Do i send second letter? Cheers

Do you mean PPI ? (payment protection insurance)
Yes if the PPI was mis sold to you, you have every right to try to reclaim on this.

They say you can go back as far as 6 years, but many have still been successful in reclaiming PPI even from the 1990's, however having the paperwork that includes the account numbers will help.
