which phone to get?
Hi,
I want to get a new camera phone and would like some advice as to which ones are good and whether I should get a contract or pay as you go.
I would use it at most times of the day and do a lot of texting.
Something not to complicated to use also. I have orange at the moment and the signal is very poor in my area.
any advice would be really appreciated
thanks so much in advance.

Hi Melly_g,
My contract is up for renewal and this will be my 3rd year with o2. I have had no problems with phone repair, customer service or billing with them so far. As for a phone I would recommend either the Sony Ericsson K750i (1 year old now) or the K800i which is due out at the end of June. Both phones have excellent cameras (best I've seen on a phone) and the menus are simple to navigate. If you joining as a new customer, the link are giving away free 17" LCD TV, PSP or an iPod with new 18 month contracts. Good Luck!

I'm also after a camera phone, and from my research it seems that if you are interested mostly in the camera then the sony ericssons are the way to go. the k750i, w800i, w700i (both the same but different colour) and w810i all use the same camera as far as i can tell.. a 2mp autofocus one.
If anyone has any other recommendations or hands on experience it would be appreciated. Sounds like its probably worth changing from orange to get a better reception (and you'll need to anyway to keep your number).
try https://www.onecompare.com to look for deals that suit you.
Unfortunately all the good deals for the above phones seem to be on orangestay lucky!

W810i all the way, also check on some providers web sites they may have a coverage checker of some sort that you can put your postcode in and see what you may get before commiting to a contract0
