    *sigh*

Well, I am depressed about job now.

Parents have put a downer on me because it is not loads of cash and not in my 'educated' line of work.

    OTOH it has
    - a pension
    -security
    -9 to 5 hours
    -no travel

None of which I have at the moment.

b/f also thinks I will regret giving up cash. Plus, he might have to work in London for a year. Not really fair if he has to pay for flights to see each other all the time, I suppose.

The gilt has come off my lily today. I seem to be the only person who thinks doing something worthwhile is a good plan.

I guess I will have to let the fates decide. If I'm meant to do something else an offer will come through from one of my other interviews before assessment day.

Not that Ihave an*offer* from dream job even yet,you understand.

    Honey

It is Your working life - not your parents or your boyfriends!!!!!

Give yourself a shot at what you really want - life is too short to have regrets.

Best of luck and big hug.

I agree with elona, its your life and you can make up your own mind about what you want to do. You are the only one who knows your limits and if you want this job and know you can deal with a pay cut then i'd say go for it, there are always lots of little ways you can make extra money if needed. At the end of the day you need to be happy, and having a job you like is a very rare thing!

Thanks. And after the interview etc I'll have a good idea of if it matches what I think it is.

I know you guys will all help me when I'm poor, too!!

    Emmzi,

Does your debt affect anybody else? If not, you should do what you feel is best for you, as I can see you know how much extra work you will have to put in to your debts if you get this job.

Show everyone that you can come through the other side, and how happy you will be when you have paid your debts and have your dream job. :)
