Help needed after a power flush please

  • I saw him move the switch on the box to manual before they flushed so I think that would be ok
  • ok i will give that a try thanks. I think Ive come to the conclusion that I am not going to be able to sort this and will have to wait for him to come and have another look at it

  • i wiggled the switch up and down a bit, not sure how its supposed to feel but it moved freely.... is that good? I didnt want to tap anything in case I did some damage but its still not working. Thanks for all your suggestions, I give up now :confused:

    the lever should move from left to right, it will move under the tension of a spring then return back...if you give it good fast flick the internal mechanism will over run and then spring back. you won't do it any harm.

  • is this the silver coloured box that has honeywell written on it and sits on the end of a kind of T junction, my lever moves up and down really easy with no resistance there is certainly no spring in there
