I will buy your spare tickets.
So Tigsteroonie I would be grateful if I could buy your spare tickets and save you the trouble of selling them on Ebay...after all you are not a tout so selling them for face value should be fine with you.
Thanks
LOVE this!!!!!!!!!!!!!:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0 -

I heard Peter Kay say recently that, because he has kiddies now, he is no longer prepared to spend time away from home while they are small (which is fair enough really)
Sorry to those who didn't get tickets. I got 2 pairs, the first just after 8 in block 106 then I checked again when more tix became available and got 5th row in block H. I could have then had another 2 pairs in blocks 105 and 106 but I let them go as I would only have bought more if I could have got better than block H.
There will be some people on ebay who will have done the same as me and will just want to recover their costs (selling my spares to a work colleague so my spares won't go on) but the problem is that the touts target them.
I once bought Kylie tix for MEN and got 3rd row. Newcastle dates were announced later so I bought tix for there as well and ebayed my Manchester ones. Got a message via ebay from a guy who was desperate for tix, had wanted them as a 1st anniversary gift for wife who was Kylie's biggest fan apparently and couldn't afford to pay more that face value, etc. I sold to him at face value, glad to have helped a genuine fan who couldn't get tix. Imagine my surprise when, after I'd sent the tix through, he listed them for sale with a Buy it Now of £220!!! (he'd paid me just over £100 for them)08 wins £3000+ :j09 wins £4408:j2010 (6 months off) £2004:j2011 £10,003 :j 2012 - £6013 :j2013 wins £8500 :j 2014 £5530 so far....0 -
My friend went on at 11am and got tickets at 11.10am, i couldn't believe it, i was trying from 10am and managed to get mine at 11.50am, for a Tuesday she got hers for a sat, so strange but se has used TM lots of times and details were stored so not sure if that was a help for her?0

tbh i dont like kick out time of the men either, crowds can always be trouble (im not suggesting pk fans will be)people forget its 20,000 people. and most of them will walk to hotels afterwards as most will be from out of town.
Living near the arena isn't ideal then is it? I can believe it's a nuisance when there are that many people spilling out night after night, but if you choose to live there you'll just have to accept it. Not much point complaining about PK or TM or anyone else involved in putting on shows at the Arena. That's what the arena is there for.0 -
I managed to get 3 for a Sat night. Was a nightmare on Ticketmaster, website kept crashing as I was inputting card details, I think I inputted them about 5 times. Little clock was ticking away in the corner, managed to submit it without losing connection with about 10 secs to spare.
I think as it gets closer to the event loads will be available via Ebay at less than face value. People will be buying them as Christmas presents, some people will end up get two sets of tickets as presents and will sell their spares. Also I think many Southerners will realise they can't be bothered to travel up to Manchester, and others may find they can't get decent accommodation.0 -
i get your point, mj was also a global icon so a lot of people flying in and he had lots of musicans etc, london can deal with that influx of people.
Good job that there has never been some massive event like, ooh, the Commonwealth Games held in the backwards hick of a town called Manchester then if it would struggle to cope with Peter Kay doing a 20 night tour. Someone best tell the judges of the 2018 World Cup bid that Manchester won't be able to manage.0 -
i guess, i suppose it wud be 3 weeks away, he gets to spend more of his time the rest of the time with them though, he isnt away 9til 5 each day.
arhh whatever happend to comedians at smaller venues, now at the upper tier we just watch them on screens.
sorry for kicking off its just the men isnt a great venue, i shouldnt say this i guess but its like a concrete carpark inside and the sound for comedians is bad, i once sat in teh 8th row and didnt hear a word said, soundwaves bounce to the back and reverb back and cancel out, his mouth was moving but no sound. couldn't beleive it. sound chap said he did the best he could but it happens, a lot of us were v annoyed!
make sure u go in the building at a door near your block else its a long long long walk round the concrete outta ring.
well tickets were to be for the neice so its off to ebay to make someone v happy by giving them loads of my money. i suppose its fair, the more i think about it it really is like a lottery and someone else got lucky and would rather sell them so fair enough. in fact without these touts i bet i still wouldnt have got tickets but there would be no way to buy any. so they are good a way, plus i can pick the date and look at the seats and get good ones etc.
in fact...well the hell did i waste this morning trying, just realised i should just have gone to ebay, much easier, no server cashes and u can see what is available more than in TM! thats it, from now on some other muppet can struggle to buy the tickets and i will get them from ebay, i will think of it as paying them for their time and stress and the luck factor. sorted.
i dont mind things selling out fast and not getting the tickets, morrisey sold out in 2 mins once, but it was ok as i knew within 5 mins they were all gone so i didnt sit there refreshing like a gonk
Did you get tickets?0
