To the person who says that anyone selling on eBay is a tout ..... I'm not a tout (not that mine have actually gone on eBay yet!). I was running two browser windows with two different dates as I was happy to accept either, I bought my "second choice date" first but then got the exact date I wanted. I will be selling my spare tickets on eBay at some point. That doesn't make me a tout, just incredibly determined to get tickets and willing to risk buying more than I need.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

How the hell is it Peter Kay's fault? He's idiotic!:rolleyes::rolleyes:
least i am annoyed with him, the tour that doesnt tour, ha ha0 -
Did ANYONE here manage to get any? If so well done0
-
well who then is afault his promotor??? did peter have no say? every one else splits the allocation between agents, tm, seetickets, ticketline etc. this helps to not overload the servers. instead he has used just one. stupid. also tm!!! they go in hard themselves and buy them and put them on getmein. at least seetickets doesnt do that. as another poster said tm gave the presale to friends first so the tickets had all gone. i honestly think it is time the artists themselves put pressure on agents like tm, look at the number of people today that wasted so much time.
i am annoyed with him, the tour that doesnt tour, ha ha the jokes start already, so witty peter. of course its evironmentally friendly to have them all in one place... no need to have all the riggers and lights and drums and musical instruments and stage set carted to all the venues.....oh no wait its just him. far better to have every person that wants to see him drive to manchester. 400,000 people, carbon footprint peter thanks.
i was annoyed when i saw so many dates, the reason we have arenas in each town is so people dont have to folk out train fairs or drive or have to pay for hotels. manchester isnt massive hotel wise or cheap. we often have sell out shows at the m.e.n but mainly a high % of the people will be local and be able to get home. to save himself money on 'tour' costs he is making everyone else pay loads more.
Don't be so bloody bitter because you didn't get tickets.
Michael Jackson was due to play goodness knows how many dates at the 02 arena - what's the difference?0 -
I got 2 for row B at 14.24 when my confirmation came through. Lower tier facing the stage but being a short !!!! that helps. Tried afterwards for all different dates and they'd all gone. I thought they'd have sold by 11.02am knowing how other things pan out when I try and book them. Must have been a fluke.0

400,000 people willing to go to Manchester to see a northern guy stand up on stage and talk? I don't blame him for not making any more effort than one series of dates in one location - he obviously doesn't need to :rotfl::heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I will buy your spare tickets.
I tried for a while online without success and then decided to go to the MEN. Arrived there at 2.45pm and joined the queue with I would say approxiamately 150/200 people in front of me. At 2.55pm the illuminated sign above the ticket windows displayed the fact there was only 300 tickets left for the 20 shows. as time went on the number of tickets reduced to 250 200 150 100 50 30 and then the shutters went down and management came out to apologize for the fact they had sold out and this was at 3.35pm. There was still about 40 people in front of me at this time.
So Tigsteroonie I would be grateful if I could buy your spare tickets and save you the trouble of selling them on Ebay...after all you are not a tout so selling them for face value should be fine with you.
Thanksnever chew the umbilical cord!!0 -

The difference is that was London and people seem to accept that, apparently it's ok if someone just wants to do a load of shows there. Nobody seems to worry that everyone from the north has to traipse down to London and pay ridiculous prices for hotels etc.
But how dare a performer just want to do Manchester?! Disgraceful.0 -
Well PK is not from London!
He's a northener....why go to the hassel of uprooting the family to the Smoke with their inflated prices when you can sleep in your own bed and do your gigs down the road!
Maybe coz he used to work at the MEN years ago as a steward, probably got staff discount!:rotfl:
He only had 4 dates on to start with, with the rest of May penciled in. Demand was high so he decided to do more shows, whats wrong with that? Surely he is doing more to please the fans?
Personally if I was him I would just do my 4 nights down the road and bugg@r the fans that couldn't make it!:rotfl:
Ticketmaster are renowned for being carp! I never use them unless I have to, alwasy use SEE, much more reliable & booking fee is half the price. TM site always crashes, it's pathetic! But I can't see how thats PK's fault?:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0
