They'll pay him in snorkers!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

I know hun and he does sound lovely and a proper gentleman but I remember well you could have written these same words after Shrek. I don't want to pee on your fire so to speak but I hate to see you have these highs and lows and be used by him when you are vunerable. I know he probably would be a fantastic friend but thats not what you want! You want more and that will ALWAYS get in the way
I guess its whether you are prepared to hang around having the highs and lows putting your life on hold on the off chance that HE decides that the time is right. Its like he is making all the decisions and you have no control.
Now I feel like a cow for saying it and lets face it I never take my own advice
I called Shrek a gentleman?
You're not being a cow :grouphug:, I know you are completely right, was just explaining why it's so hard.
I never wanted to be friends with Shrek (if I said I did, I was fooling myself, lol). I loved him so much and there was no way a friendship would have worked.
Mr Sunday would be a good friend though. I just have to work out if I can live with 'just friends'. I'm not head over heels in love with him like I was with Shrek, so part of me says maybe. I am still going to carry on dating, and hopefully I will meet someone really nice, then it will be easier to just be platonic."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
