    I LOVE Matalan :T :T

I get loads from there and the clothes wash really well.
    The homeware is nice too.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I know you're right Sal, it's just hard because if you take away all the dating stuff, he is really likeable. He is someone that would be a lovely friend.

I don't know anyone quite like him, he is absolutely unique, rather odd, very interesting, fantastic company. He is like a little throwback to a bygone era, so well brought up with proper, old-fashioned manners. He picks up litter in the park, and clears leaves from drains so the road doesn't flood. He has a huge general knowledge and immaculate grammar and spelling, very eloquent, and very very witty. He holds his arm out to me when we are walking, he holds doors for me. It's lovely to be treated like that.

    I just like him :o

If i have a choice, I prefer it over any of the supermarkets or primarche... definitely better quality and i love the fit of their jeans! I can't go in there right now as I love the shoes and party dresses too much for my own safety!

  • Evening all, please whenever I mention overtime again tell me not to do it! As for managers they are lying jobsworths :rotfl: Ah well hopefully I will have £15 extra on my birthday :j

Oh and any of you with little girls and can get to borders/the disney store tomorrow, buy the daily telegraph :j Free snow white calender. Alas I want the free book offered on Sunday but have no Waitrose near me

    Have a great evening :)
  • I remember the days I used to buy such things without a second thought... that's how I got into such a mess:o. now when I give my folks a gift they ask if I want the bag back:o.... and I usually say yes:rotfl::rotfl:...

Bookie accepts slapped wrist but stands firm. Still believe nice wrapping makes something reasonably priced look fantastic.

Wow bookie you are good at this ideas lark.
    The box is lovely :)
I love my box. I usually 'recycle' the boxes/bags I receive but this was too nice.

Incidentally, Home Bargains had some fantastic gift bags/bottle boxes and crackers at wonerful prices today.

Any more present dilemmas Beanie? I love spending other people's money.

I love Matalan too, I got a beautiful dressy winter coat the other week and I have had loads of compliments on it as it looks really special, it was only £40 and it is a cashmere mix too. It should last me years:T
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
