Orange coverage
Options
I'm thinking of going for an Orange contract for 12 months where you get 100min + 100txt for £20 per month plus a free phone.
Now I used to be on Orange PAYG a few years back and to be honest the coverage was the worst i've ever had, I would have hoped it's alot better now but just what comeback have I if I take the contract and find out the signal is still rubbish can I scrap the contract? Or am I stuck with it for 12months?
Is anyone else out there on Orange, and if so how do you find it signal wise?
Thanks,
Pete.

Should have a 14 day return period so you can send back the phone and cancel the contract if you're not happy within the first 14 days. If not, then if you are buying by phone or online then you have at least 7 days to return any goods purchased under the Distance Selling Regulations. Hope this helps.0

I was with Orange for 6 years, moved to 3 then O2, both are better where i live. In my view O2 and Vodafone are the best networks, some of my friends are on Orange and where i get a signal with O2 they do not.0

I was on Virgin (T Mobile) and the signal was utter crap anywhere and everywhere. Ported to Orange about 6 weeks ago and am pleased to say that I can get a signal anywhere and everywhere !!
In Devon last week the people we were with could'nt get a signal (O2) but no problem for this Orange convert. !!0 -
Hmm mixed bag then, I think I'll go for it and if it's no good i'll cancel and send it back within 14 days.
Cheers,

Hi, just to let you know, I live in London, and never had any real problems with Orange coverage. Occasionally it will go down, but very very rarely. The thing is, elsewhere in the country, the coverage can be dreadful (for example in Bradford I could not get coverage. Whatever you do, don't go to Orange for an explanation as they will always tell you that you have just having a temporary problem in the area. The good thing with Orange is that you may be able to claim your line rental back for those days where there was no coverage, however, the cost of missed calls etc, may not make it worth it. I have had a contract with Orange for ages (and still have) but have played around with other service providers and would really recommend you look at 02 (I've just started a 12 month contract with them) as they have some very competitive deals out there, esp if coverage is important to you...Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. For me, Orange coverage is very poor in the country. My partner used O2 and reception is much better, but not perfect. I will be changing this month after 6 years with them as a result.0

That seems expensive as I managed to get on the Canary 30 (200 anytime mins and 75 tetxs) for 6 months free line rental on a 12 month contract with the new SE W810i from e2save. It works out £15 a month after cashback, and you can get another £31.50 from quidco! Its better to close your mouth and appear stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt...:p0
