Virign v Sky

My folks are thinking of getting Sky or Virgin.

They love their rugby so want Sky sports.
They seem to be edging towards Virgin as they don't like Murdoch!!! (haha) and don't want a dish outside their house.

Anybody know of any deals for either?

Looking for TV, internet and phone for both with Sky sports
They don't use the web much but do use the phone regularly

Just something to consider but a lot of the rugby is behind the red button on Sky Sports and you can't access that on Virgin.

Good tip. Thanks. I think they'd be better off with Sky as it has the Sky+ option and Sky player.

virgin has v+ and on demand. The v+ box can record 2 programmes while you watch a 3rd and has 48 hours of space.

I prefer virgin because they dont charge for an engineer visit and when I had sky the wind kept blowing the dish out of alignment, that was why I left them.

Never paid for a Sky engineer visit yet, and I've had them out at least 7 or 8 times in 10 years.
