had a phone call recently from tmobile or so i thought, they had all our details, dob etc and said you qualify for upgrade phone as loyalty (not due upgrade till july/august)ordered one and two weeks later went into store to ask whereabouts of phone, they know nothing of this, today a text sayin i may qualify for new camera phone. i went into tmobile store in town and they know nothing of this even though there company must be realeasing our details onto some third party!we are wondering how to get these stopped,i know on home phones u can stop junk calls etc but what about mobiles?

  • I often get sales calls on my t-mobile phone pay as you go, asking If I want to upgrade to contract from a third party company, not T-mobile. I believe some companies just randomly dial numbers that are pre-fixed with certain operators codes, ie 07950 for t-mobile.

I got a sales call from some Tmobile seller who had an Indian accent and told me I qualified for a free phone. They said I was chosen specially and they had all my details, I just need to pick my phone.

I thought it hilarious for several reasons

    1. The phone in question is on an o2 contract.

    2. It is a work phone and not registered in my name, but to the company.

I wish I wasn't with a client at the time I would have loved to have spent an age wasting his time.
    I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.
