I have an account with them and my order confirmation email came showing full price, although it says discount may be applied and will show on 'my account' anyone else had this happen?

1st post. Hello to all

I made an order at empire stores last week and used a discount code which made my order completely free.
I received an email from them to confirm my order and it was ready to be dispatched. Great, I thought.
A week later I am still waiting for my item, but I have just received another email from them today which says, "We confirm receipt in our warehouse of the returned goods shown below. Any adjustments will be shown on your statement."

Strange. I haven't even received any goods from them so how could I have possibly returned them? Maybe they decided not send them out. Anybody ever had this from them?

My understanding was that this code is for new customers not ones with accounts existing - but I could be wrong.

my order came today, with the discount on the invoice.

i never did get the confirmation e-mail

i did use the code twice and all the stuff came in 1 parcel but all discounted

4 pairs of school trousers £3.96p
