Hey guys
I am looking to get a contract phone....needs to be able to call Tmobile phones for free..as most of my friends are on TMobile. So i guess a call everyone plan or Tmobile one will be good.
need to call mainly in the night, sometimes in day- so mix it may be good
not too fussed about fone as long as it has bluetooth, infrared and nice to have a radio.
Any ideas?

Are you intending just to make phone calls with the phone (you sound like a bit of a power user asking for infra-red and bluetooth)?
Most new phones don't have Infra-Red, mostly because bluetooth dongle's are so cheap.
If you are a poweruser, I know the XDA Exec (about the most expensive phone you can chose!) has infra-red, no FM radio though.0 -
No i'm just after a cheap fone, i currently have a Nokia 3650- yes i kno big and old, but it has both bluetooth and infrared on it, so i feel like i am moving backwards if ma new gadget doesnt have it.......
really i need a cheap contract phone, just to get me around

Since you're not a poweruser (I didn't think you'd be!) I recommend you chose a phone that doesn't have infra-red - it's really not necessary anymore (unless you've grown accustomed to using your phone as a TV remote!).
All but the very cheapest phones have bluetooth now, which can do everything infra-red can (except control TVs) and more (e.g. bluetooth headset, possible only because bluetooth doesn't need line of sight).
I use the radio on my phone every day, so yes that's deffinetely worth having. If you're going to be using it lots, I'd recommend you don't look for a phone with a normal headphone jack - the only phone worth doing this with is the pricey Nokia N91 (which doubles as an iPod competitor with it's 4GB hard drive) - whilst the bundled headsets aren't as good sound quality they give you handsfree capability.
All the phones here have radio, bluetooth, and are available on T-Mobile:

However, T-Mobile's deals aren't very good - they only do ones with a. Anytime Anynetwork mins or b. Offpeak calls to T-Mobile and Landlines,
plus their anytime deals aren't very well priced.
I'd recommend you use this comparison site:
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are other sites but I think this one's by far the best because of how it lets you chose features etc and only show deals with all the bits you want.
Hope that helps
...that site is white label, so use m o b i l e s 4 e v e r y o n e instead (i dont think that ones white label...).0 -
In terms of a phone you could go for the sonyericsson w810...this has all that you ask for plus walkman capabilities. It can store up to 125 songs on the memory card that comes with it!
In terms of tariffs o2 have some good deals if you check out their site and the phone is also available for free which is a bonus!0 -
Go to GSMArena where it lets you choose most options on a phone then hopefully you will find what you are looking for, and i think most sony ericssons have both bluetooth and infra red then go to the likes of e2save and onestopphoneshop and check out what deals they have for whatever phone you choose. The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
