Has anyone bought a gaming chair?

If anyone is familiar with these I'd be grateful for an opinion?

The more expensive one is too new to have as many reviews as the other older version. Not sure if it's worth the extra in terms of comfort and actual gaming experience.

We bought the wireless Rocker from Argos last Christmas for my son.
Its very comfortable, pretty easy to set up cable wise if you RTFM ;-)
We did have a problem with his sound going after 6 months but Argos swapped it straight away no problems.

hiya we bought the wireless x rocker pro last week and it is really good .dh who knows about these things .lol .say's it is better than the smaller cheaper one hope this helps
  • My son has had an X Rocker for a couple of years, the sound etc is really good on it. He managed to break the sound cable but it was easily replaced from ebay.
We got his from PC world where they price matched an offer Argos was doing plus an extra 10% so it ended up quite a bargain :)

Hi, we have the Xrocker special edition. Its great! My OH loves it, its very comfy and the sound quality is excellent, great for gamers and also when you just want to listen to music, the bass and speakers sound great. Really pleased overall, we bought ours from argos last time it was on offer, for 69.99 i think. I would say worth the money, especially being leather also! My OH virtually lives on it (he even wanted to 'dump' one of our sofas and sit on his xrocker instead! not a chance...!)
  • I've been following a similar thread on avforums and loads of people are recommending this new i-ex gaming chair - kind of like a bean bag but not! there are pics as well on avforums

I can vouch for this one - its fab! Its pretty big and really comfy even if just for watching tv, it has decent back support but theres still room to move your arms. It doesn't have any speakers, but then we've got a good sound system anyway
