07.06.06 Update - Updates: In this main post i will update with any questions we get asked by customers on a regular basis. If you have any questions about the updates please feel free to ask, or if you notice something you may think is incorrect let em know.
07.06.06 Update - Free Virgin to Virgin Texts: Promo due to expire on the 28th of September due to a system issue we would like to let customers know you will need at least 1p credit on the account to use these text messages, however you will not be charged. (Similar to how Voicemail works).
07.06.06 Update - Contract Billing info: Alot of customers who have had to call us to activate failed DD details, IF the account holder of the phone is different to the person who we take the DD from we will need confirmation from both, we try to aim to ONLY have contracts set up all in ONE persons name as this helps prevent fraud, if you want the DD to be in your name and the phone itself in a childs/family member you will need to setup your contract via the Carphone Warehouse.
07.06.06 Update - Contract Tariffs: If you are soon to get a Virgin Mobile contract PLEASE READ THIS! Buy the contract through a VMS if possible, at this time any tariff you can get with us through a 3rd party retailer we can do the same but double the mins/texts, the only downside is that VMS don't have a large range of phones compared to some 3rd party retailers, for more info see http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/paymonthly/paymonthlytariff.html . For example £40 will get you 250 minutes 500 texts, 12/18 months with any phone. In a VMS the same price will get you 500 mintues and 1000 texts.
Thanks

Hi Agent 47.
I have recently given my old K700i to my dad who has a virgin sim. The phone is still setup with all the Vodafone Live and MMS settings.
What are the settings for Virgin so he will be able to use GPRS/WAP and MMS?
Thanks in advance0 -
Hi sanj82 to save giving out the mobile numebr in question go here -
http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/services/settings/index.jsp
Follow the Enhanced WAP and picture message routes which will send the settings to the phone (make sure his SIM is in the phone switched on) and after the settings get sent there will be a set of 'What to do' when recieved, if im right Sony Ericsson's are simple, it will be a case of pressing ok when the setting are recieved and the settings will take action.
Also when the picture message settign have been installed remember he needs to send a picture message for the first time using our settings before he can recieve them, best advised is to send himself one so he can see that he can send and recieve them.
Hope this helps.

Are you from Virgin mobile CS? You said you can answer questions here, but on your other thread, you are calling them useless.

I got my W810 unlocked from Voda before i found this site but is there any 'free' way to debrand it because everytime i go to use GPRS it trys then fails to connect to Vodaphone live before i can go to my service providers site, Virgin Cust services were useless and said they cant / wont help cause its nto thier phone and Vodaphone won't because im using Virgin's settings. Also Voda's name is everywhere when i turn it on/off etc. Is there a free easy way to flash this thing before it egts drop kicked otu fo a window?

As no permission has been sought by the OP to post on MSE as a representative of Virgin nor does it seem that in fact the OP does work for Virgin, I have closed this thread.
I have also closed the other thread that happyhunter quotes the post from the Agent47 has now edited out the pertinant part but it was in fact posted as quoted above.0
