Tonight I parked in a disabled bay at Doncaster Rovers keepmoat stadium, no football match was bing played only evening training for the outside floodlit pitches. I run a team, i was late 5 mins before training, like a fool i parked close to rectify lateness.
I got a 70 pound fine payable in 7 days or 100 pound then extrA 20 pound per week if not paid.
Private company Vehicle Management direct limited, a member of the Doncaster chamber, the spaces were not in use, for match days to be honest but no match played. I know its my fault.
They have got PCN placed on the payment slip.
any help or do I have to pay?
I am annoyed with myself but 70 pounds!
I am a member of stadium fitness, which I pay a monthly membership and it is not cheap! Was late for a class, no football match was on as gym closes when matches are being played, I too was running late and stupidly parked in a disabled bay opposite the hard training ground and entrance to stadium fitness. On return to my car, I have a PCN from a company called V.M.D Limited ( Vehicle Management Direct LTD) FOR £100 or £70 if paid within 1 week. I don,t know what to do? Was your notice with the same company and did you ignore it or pay up? They threaten court proceedings, debt recovery etc if not paid? Any help much appreciated.0 -

Hi , have just read this and need advice? I did the exact same thing last night and am so annoyed with myself too!

This is an ancient thread to bump again from 2009, bearing in mind we get at least 25 new ones every single day!! I guess you didn't know that?
Quick forum use tip:
When you find a random thread on any online forum, take a step back and look at the sub-forum, the board the thread sits on and read the info threads at the top which are called 'stickies' as they stick permanently at the top of the board like notices.
To do this, look at the top of this page for the blue link starting Home > Forums > and so on (it's in small writing, always written as a chain-link on any forum, always with > inbetween each step, and it ends with the name of this thread).
Hope that makes sense.
Now if you try that, please read the stickies (info threads at the top) by clicking on the end of the Home > Forums > 'breadcrumb link' at the top. My signature tells you what to click on to read the forum.
You will find a must-see Watchdog clip, cunningly hidden in the sticky thread 'welcome, please read before posting'! And also look at the letter chains in the top sticky thread 'PPC letters & threats'. Both by Crabman.
That's what will happen - just letters. Ignore them completely.
But do read up on the scam, get a preview of those letters and watch the Watchdog clip now you know how to find the sticky info threads.
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
