Private parking fine

Options
Tonight I parked in a disabled bay at Doncaster Rovers keepmoat stadium, no football match was bing played only evening training for the outside floodlit pitches. I run a team, i was late 5 mins before training, like a fool i parked close to rectify lateness.
I got a 70 pound fine payable in 7 days or 100 pound then extrA 20 pound per week if not paid.
Private company Vehicle Management direct limited, a member of the Doncaster chamber, the spaces were not in use, for match days to be honest but no match played. I know its my fault.
They have got PCN placed on the payment slip.
any help or do I have to pay?
I am annoyed with myself but 70 pounds!

You do not have to pay. Read stickies at the top of this forum section! They'll send ever more threatening letters telling you they will do all sorts of things that they legally cannot and won't do, then eventually they will give up!

DONT PARK IN DISABLED PARKS AGAIN, THEY ARE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE DISABLED. THINK YOURSELF LUCKY THAT YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE A BLUE BADGE. PEOPLE LIKE YOU MAKE ME SO ANGRY. OOOOOOOOHHHHHH

Why should he put a fiver in a disabled box? From his op he clearly hasn't inconvenienced the disabled in any way. The only people inconvenienced are the scumsucking parking company. What benefit is it to anyone if whole boat loads of spaces go empty in a car park at night with no function going on, "Just in case" a little common sense is called for occasionaly.

I didnt say he had to put a fiver in the disabled box.

I agree with the common sense point, but ufortunately lots of people dont have any which is why disable bays etc are marked out

THIS WAS NOT A DISABLED BAY!

Disabled spaces have no legal meaning whatsoever in the context of private parking and most if not all are non-compliant with the marking regs anyway.

You can learn about the scam by reading other posts by people in your position, as well as the 'sticky' threads which are permanently stuck at the top of the board.

Just look up to the top of the page and click on the blue words 'Parking fines, tickets and parking' (under the Banking Saving orange tab). By clicking on that link you'll get ALL the current threads on the subject of parking tickets.

Read those which mention private parking companies (PPCs). You will see that you'll probably be sent some scam letters alleging a debt and threatening you with Court/Bailiffs. The scam letters will be in bold writing with pretty colours, pretending to be from Debt Collectors/Solicitors, deliberately worded to mislead and scare you.

DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! IT IS A SCAM.

Ignore all their rubbish letters and have a nice Christmas. Spread the word with family & friends that no-one should ever pay for private parking tickets.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

I don't recall saying you did, I posted asking why he should this in response to your text below, which incidentally you didn't answer yet found time to post your challenge of my imagined comment.
