Ok, if you want to continue with this, Free=gift. This is not a gift, it is really a loan as it only lasts for 1 year. You don't get a gift only to have to give it back again.:rolleyes:

Oh, and if you assumed the people could read, then it would read as "free version of office for everyone." Many people don't know what BETA actually means, but they do know they want cheap office packages. In that case, this isn't for them.

Technically it is free, because you don't have to pay for it and you don't have to buy it at the end.

openoffice is free forever, why anybody would want to have this for a year is beyond me, what happens when it runs out and you suddenly find the only way to access your documents again is to buy the full version

What happens? You post on here whinging that nobody told you it was only a beta version that expires.

useless for the common man as it's time limited. plus!! it's a beta don't go crying if it somehow changes all of your important spreadsheets to contain the word 'fish' in every cell.

Now theres lucky! I have been trying to write a formula to do that for ages...do you know if the size of fish can be made conditional?
