Am I within my rights????
I ordered an Orange phone but through Beepy I received the handset the next day and was happy with my purchase. However after just 14 days of having the phone it started freezing and becoming unresponsive also the screens seemed to overlap????
Anyway contacted Beepy (after getting a fault code from Orange) and they said my new handset would arrive the next day between 2-6. So I had no phone all day after packaging the old one away ready to be collected but my new habdset never arrived
Contact them today they said my new phone would definately arrive today between 2-6???? Now it's 17.49 and still no phone!!!
So I have been without a phone for 2 days
Am I within my rights to terminate the contract if it doesn't arrive today????
I am 7 months pregnant and (after my DS threw my old PAYG phone into the potty) I ordered the phone on contract so I wouldn't be left without one :eek:

u should call up beepy/orange get the tracking number for ur package and call the carrier and see where it is?Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0

The phone and contract are seperate, you don't have any rights to cancel because the phone is not working.
Keep on at beeby, try and get them to pay for the days you have been unable to use your phone contract due to the phone not arrived as promised.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

If the phone was purchased directly from Orange and goes faulty within the first 28 days, the policy is to replace the handset with a brand new working model or refund, whichever the custome prefers.
However, it's just a guideline, not a law that makes them do this. Have you tried contacting beepy to see if they have a similar policy?0 -

I had a phone from Beepy which was faulty and they replaced it within a couple of days. Keep pestering them till it arrives.0 -
From their terms and conditions for Orange:What if my handset or gift is faulty?
Fortunately, this doesn't happen very often. If for some reason, your chosen mobile phone or gift does not work or has been damaged, you can return it to us for a refund or replacement. The following explains your options:
Less than 28 days after your date of receipt (14 days on the 3 network)...
All you need to do is contact the Web Customer Services Team, who will arrange for the return or refund of the phone (and/or accessories) at no extra charge to you. Once we have received the returned goods in their original packaging, we will arrange for a replacement product or refund to be sent to you. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer an exchange if there is any accidental or physical damage to the returned item. We can, however, arrange a repair for you.

Again no phone spoke to them it will arrive tomorrow???? What can I do???0

Just received a phonecall from Beepy the handset is out of stock I mean !!!!!!!!! maybe if they had sent it 3 days ago like they were suppose to it would have been in stock!!! Great now I have no phone and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it!!!0
