Setting up email on Nokia E63 on 3

Trying to set up email on my Nokia E63 phone, which is on the £18 month 200 mins/unlimited texts & internet contract. Have input my freeserve.co.uk email address and usual password, which according to a website I found should be all I need to do.
However it keeps asking for my incoming mail server, and when I put POP3 in it says it's invalid.
Can anyone advise where I'm going wrong please?
