STRAWB

Hi
I have just bought a mercedes c180 kompresser 03 and its got a loveley full hands free kit inside with controls on the steering wheel and everything.
My problem is i do not know what phone goes into it i just wondered if anyone could help me if mercedes do a standard type i.e nokia as no manual came with it?

Should be a nokia 6310i , 6210. 6310, 5110, 402, 7110, etc

The hands free *should* work, but I do know there was an issue with the 6310/6310i models as Nokia changed the firmware so they would only work in a genuine nokia hands free unit (mercedes is not genuine), however; as mercedes have a lot of big spending mobile phone users Nokia allowed a update for mercedes so if you get a 6310/6310i and they don't work in the unit, then you should be able to get it updated to accept the phone................this is of course if it's the same hands free I'm thinking of

so i need to find someone with a 6310 to try it cheers
