    I informed them about the girlfriend, which was nothing to do with him and about what she was claiming.

    So

    27th August 2009 £128.60 (JSA)
    3rd September £265.93 (back dated ESA)
    10th September £179.60 (ESA @ £89.80)
    24th September £179.60 (ESA @ £89.80)

    Looks like ESA was back dated to around 16th June 2009.

    The payment on 27th Aug would also be ESA the base rate £64.30 a week- £128.60 a fortnight.
    And the £179.60 is the ESA and at that rate means he is in the work focused group to attend the 6 interviews in order to carry on qualifying for the benefit.
