I can't see how informing somebody that they accept credit cards etc is financial advice - it is merely letting them know what their options are. kelloggs.
you can stick up for them and quote the rules till you're blue in the face.
fact remains that they are breaking the laws of this country and are now starting to be held accountable for their actions.
they've lost crown immunity, the FSA are investigating, the 2 year steer "law" and recent european developements have come to light too.
their time of doing as they please is coming to an end.NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.

But what you are saying is that they are guilty - when the investigation has not been concluded yet, so no, as it stands at the present time, they are not guilty! Had they been found guilty then they would not be deliberately breaking any laws and continuing with this practise. Wait until the outcome of the investigation before stating things as 'fact'.0 -
no nvestigation took place, due to him quitting.

I am aware who Barry Porter is, but that link about his past does not mean anything in relation to this thread. Barry Porter is the head of the Criminal Compliance team of a specific office within the CSA - he does not make policy nor lay down the rules which are made by senior management (which he is not).0 -
And BTW I have a specific reason to be peeved with Mr Porter because he withdrew a job offer from me because I refused to attend a training course whilst on maternity leave!0
