Morning all.

We had a bit morre snow here as well and blast it all I really need to go to the bank. Haven't been out in over a week due to snow and ice but I have bills to pay and don't know if my money went into the bank so need to go and check.

I hope it isn't too slippery or I will end up on my bum and not be able to get up again.

Sounds as if your day yesterday and today isn't going to well toni. If your little one hurts himself on the steps then you should sue the council for compensation as you are being a responsible adult in taking him to school in the atrocious weather.

Morning all, snowing here again with another inch over night. Here the airport is closed Toni so you must have it bad.
Take care everyone as you can't see the ice now for the new snow on top, wish it would all go away now.

I am a newbie here, I think the twins school is open but they have been sick all night, so at least we don't have to TRY to go out in this weather, time to get the washing on!!

We have had snow here on top of ice - which makes trying to walk with crutches even harder as they slip everywhere - a few near misses but no falls (fingers crossed they won't be any cos i won't be able to get back up!)

spent near on 30 mins dropping evan got home and he called to say they have NOW decided school shut, as i drove all the ruddy way back, cars are skidding and getting stuck, and to top it all tried to call Ev back to get him to start walking as traffic was so slow, he had turned his phone off!

Im livid.

80 staff didnt turn up, but they didnt put an announcement up till after i had left.
If gatwick is closed u can tell how bad it is, told paul he is walking back from station , not going out again in car today.

I need a brandy to calm down

His school announcment, dont forget his school starts at 8:25 they all have to be in registration by then, so putting that up late is a ruddy joke.

I was checking the radio website all morning cos I couldn't believe that my daughters school would be open, but it wasn't on there... so we trudge up to school (15-20 minute walk) with the girls moaning about having to go... only to arrive and be told they have decided to close!!! Grrrr! Funnily enough they didn't complain at all on the way back! Now I just have to hope it doesn't keep on snowing as I have to go to work this evening and driving round in this doesn't filll me with joy! Love the pretty snow but not driving in it!
