My ds was a similair age when we lost my fil last year in January. We took both him and Catrina then aged nearly 6 to the chapel of rest to say their goodbye. And I think it took that for him to understand. He still continually talked about Grandpa for monthes and the fact that God wanted to play games with him, so he was living there now

DD choose to attend the funeral with us, and I think that helped her lots, as she understood how sad people felt over fil. And tbh, her being there also helped mil and dh lots as well.

Had a call from DH, his Grandma has passed away this morning.

I don't know anymore details til he gets home, spoke to his Mum briefly as well who is coming & going at the moment. They are hoping to get to Registry Office today to get Death Certificate before they shut for the bank holiday. Will update here when I hear more.

Firstly so Sorry PMS *hugs* I am fine today,Went out to get newspaper and 4 pints of milk,rang my boyfriend up then did some ironing and now cooking a pasty for lunch as eating later chill con carne and rice at 5pm this afternoon as staying overnight at Mums so we can let the New Year in together tonight as a family.
