Had a call from DH, his Grandma has passed away this morning.

I don't know anymore details til he gets home, spoke to his Mum briefly as well who is coming & going at the moment. They are hoping to get to Registry Office today to get Death Certificate before they shut for the bank holiday. Will update here when I hear more.

PMS - sending you all my love and hugs at this very sad time. Saying a prayer for "Gran" tonight - may she sleep tight.

With regard to the little ones, when my MIL died 4 years ago, Em was only 7. She found it very hard to understand and deal with. The minister from our church was amazing with her. She told Emily that Nanna had died but the person inside the Chapel of Rest and the coffin was only the overcoat that Nanna used to wear. She explained that Nanna was with the angels in heaven and that the funeral was just a way of "disposing" of the overcoat. The important bit was with us always. Hope this helps your girls.
