I can't believe how much bad news there is recently.

My friend opposite dashed off a few days ago with 5 kids under 8 and her dh to visit his dad as hes poorly. Only for her Dad to suddenly fall ill yesterday and pass away this morning

Waiting now for her to get home and drop off some kiddies here, so they can go back out to her family.

oh mamzie so sorry to hear that,im looking after my neighbours kids as shes up the hosital having her baby 4months to soon,think this winters been bad for lots of people my thorghts are with you and everyone else in this time of need,

Yes it has been such a bad time just now.
our old cat died ( but she was really old, and was peaceful)
My friends brother(weekend before xmas) , brothers fianc!! grand father ( not that old, but terminal cancer, just few days before xmas) two other people we knew. My old friend Rachel( car crash)( she still doesn;t know who anyone is, but is bright and cheerful, which is good)
and the things you lot have going on also.

Ratgirl, just because your rattie isn't human does not make them any less loved/important. Sorry about your rat. and i hope she has a while of being spoilt yet.

I really hope 2010 brings us all a better year.

am waiting for a delivery, they left a missed you card yesterday.
on it says they will come back today. and also that we can leave the card on the door so they can leave parcel anywhere we want.
well, neighbour has just been up, and handed us a parcel they were given yesterday. i hope it's not that one, as they hadn't been told it was ok to leave.
AND its actually a parcel i was sending back, weeks ago. with TO and address in huge writing, and FROM and my address in tiny writing. so am going to have to arrange for that to be resend, honestly. such trouble.

off to stuff face with french fries now.

Just got back from dump and sainsburys ( new year drinks) and he actually said he done MY job of putting dishes away! he meant it too!

I love him too bits, but 10 days with him is 10 days too much!!! xxxx
now he is channel hopping and moaning about adverts? the show he wants to wtach is sky+ so he doesnt need to watch commericials :rolleyes: xxx

Toni you sound like you are having a day like me. I just sat here thinking was it wrong of me to be looking forward to Monday when himself and the majority of the kids go back to school? I love my family dearly but I have just about had enough of them now - the noise is too much and I can't comp in peace!!!!!!!!

Off to tackle DS's bedroom - and himself is coming with me even if he doesn;t realise it - there's only so much Battle of the Bulge a girl can take inbetween channel hopping!

Just thought I would pop in to wish everyone a belated Merry Crimbo! Not had any time for comping, I am running on about 2 hours sleep since Jamie was born, am shattered!
