I really, really can't understand why people have tattoos. Idiots.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

I really can't understand why people reply on posts that they can't help with or have no interest in. Idiots.

OP you've had some good advice on the laser treatment. There is no harm in your OH talking to tatooists now about ideas of changing it. It will also give her time to check out their successes in disguising a tattoo.

my friend had a tattoo done but kinda regretted it a month later coz the tattooist was quite bad! she researched into tattoo removal without scarring and now she's having a 2hr session every couple of months to remove it. BUT its not done by a laser. its actually done by tattooing a cream on top of the tattoo. my friend said that its costly as a small bottle of the cream costs £150 on its own but could be worth a look into if you didnt want scarring?
:j Buster, Boo and now little Gizmo too!!! :j
  • Why would having a tattoo make someone an idiot? Surely the idiot is the one who says such a thing? For a start you wouldn't know who has a tattoo & who doesn't unless people tell you or have them on display. The idiots are those who get them underage or in dodgy studios.
  • Makes me laugh when such closed minded fools moan about tattoos. Folk have been having them for centuries why cant some folk just let others do what they want in life without interfering with there unuseful jibber jabba
Thanks for the help for those helpful anyway given her lots to think about.

Oh this is interesting as I have a tattoo I want removing. Its my only one, got it just after I turned 18, I was young and stupid.
Now Ive decided I dont want to be an old woman with a tattoo on my arm! My role models are my grandmothers and they dont have tattoos! Just keep thinking how horrible it will look when Im old, oh sigh :( lol.
Mine is a tiger so mostly orange, black, some blue white, yellow and a little red!
I was told at the time the yellow would fade quite fast but 6 years later and its still not so I dunno.
Id like to have it removed but no idea where I would go. Ive seen some videos on youtube of it and it looks very ouchie but I really want it gone so I will get it removed one day! I did read the older the tattoo the easier it is to remove so hopefully thats the case!

The Orange, black and red should go OK with an Nd:Yag laser - the light blue might not respond and the yellow won't - but these light colours do fade over time, and 6 years isn't very long in the life of a tattoo!
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
