my sister was bullied in a very similar way, the girl involved was tripping at her ankles and giving her little nudges causing her to fall, on the way home from school so not much teachers could do.
In the end my sister was so wound up she spun round and smacked her, sticking her on her !!!!, she never had ANY trouble from then on (and my sister was easy to bully as she had zero confidence)
im not suggesting that violence is the way here btw but sometimes a short sharp shock does the trick !Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais

my nephew was bullied for years behind the so called staffs back, numorous occassions my sister was in and she was told for my nephew to keep a diary each time it happened.in my opinion although this may be a good idea it doesnt solve anything.i also went in as i was fed up and my sister upset that his glasses were repeatedly broken his clothes lost or ripped but what topped it all was his asthma pump being stolen twice. between us we reported to his teacher, nothing, headteacher also nothing then just went above their heads to education department and threatened with police if they didnt do anything.this worked and resulted in one boy who is well known as being a bully being asked to leave the school.sounds harsh but after we complained other children came forward and said they were bullied by him also.my sister wasnt popular round the school after that but who cares situation was resololved eventually and my nephew enjoyed the rest of his time at the school with a huge marked improvement in his work.so my advice is its your child go through the correct procedures if it doesnt work go to authorities it has to be resolved:xmastree:Is loving life right now,yes I am a soppy fool who believes in the simple things in life :xmastree:0

Meeting with class teacher and Head scheduled for 11:30!!!
See how that goes, I've made a note of the times she's come back bruised anyway, just little red stars on the calender so she's not seen me tracking too much,
Whats got me most is I thought it had been dealt with but to now go behind the teachers backs and carry it on is really annoying!!!
I don't want her to be watched in the playground and made to stand out but can't see another option!
Has gone to play on her own little world for a bit..... but its ok the voices in her head came too so she's not alone

Well back from meeting with head,
Class teacher is absen't due to illness but head was lovely!
Didn't take DD into school untill the meeting which is very naughty but I've tried hard not to make too big a deal out of it, being supportive with her but not pushing the issue or blowing it up bigger than it is,
Had everything ready to leave at 8:30 and she broke down in tears, I did phone the school for an earlier meeting but head wasn't due in untill 11am so i just held off taking her!
Anyway head sat down with us and explained that all the adults have been made aware and are watchfull, both boys involved and their parents will be bought into school and made aware and asked to discuss and deal with issues, all adults will be keeping a "super special eye" on the situation and if they see any hint of bullying the boys will have playtime privalages removed (which stops me worrying about DD standing out like a sore thumb though I didn't bring up that issue!)
Hopefully this will be the end of it??? Her friends are being pulled aside at play and given a little chat about DD being upset and can they help keep an eye on her etc!!
Its come at quite a horrid time tbh as my grandfather ws taken into hospital last week and we've been told he won't be leaving (hes late 80's now and been unwell for the last 6 years), though I've not said to her in so many words whats going on she is a bright girl and has noticed mummy being quite after coming back from the hospital, the school are aware of this aswell so are quite understanding that she could be a little more sensitve than normal at the min!!
Well fingers crossed that this should be the end of it (and hopefully the kids parents don't take me going to the head the wrong way!!)
Thanks for all the advice and support!
Has gone to play on her own little world for a bit..... but its ok the voices in her head came too so she's not alone

Big Hugs NOMONEYMUMMY sounds like the meeting with the head was a positive one and the bullies are being dealt with and support being put in place for your DD, Im also Sorry to also read about your Grandfather (more hugs).
I had a very similar experience with my DS, I kept a diary, photos, had meetings with the school, in the end he wanted to move schools, he was in year 5, I applied to 3 schools in my local area and all 3 rejected our application. We decided as a family (costs being helped with by other working family members) to apply to a Private school and gained a place for DS to start September this year. He was still being bullied at the school so we asked our doctor for a sick note for the last week of school in July, (the school was not happy, but my son was). We are just about making ends meet, but when DS came home the other day and sat on the sofa and said that, he loves his new school he has learnt so much in every glass and he isn't being bullied.
We have also had parents evening and his predicited grades have shot up in such a short time frame, we are ALL very please and I know that every penny has been spent well.0
