Its just a take out place and only sell a small selection of curries, but at £2.50 inc free nan/roti, and a great taste, you cant go wrong!

Would this include free delivery to the Manchester area????;)

Naaaa. In Manchester i would recommend Al-Madina on Wilmslow Rd.
Its sort of in the middle of the road.

The price is around the usual mark but the curries are nice.

Akbars is the best curry house I've tried in Bradford. Agree about Mumtaz and re the place you mention, I find it's normally a good sign if an Asian reccomends a curry so I might give it a try, but why so cheap?

There are a few places like that in Bradford.

The curries are just a sideline. Their main sellers are rotis and naans that people buy to take home and eat with their homemade curries.

If you go there around dinner time the place is usually packed out.

Sorry mate i just meant it as a tongue in cheek joke!

To be honest im not a great connoisseur of take away curries. I can think of a few melanin challenged people (is that better? :p) who probably know more curry places then i do.

We'd all be better coming round to yours for a freebie mate!

Good to see you replying :T

Re the best curry ever, I'm confident it's The Buraq midway between St. Helens and Wigan.

    I beg to differ. :p

Its the Spice of India on Melton Road in Leicester :D

No worries mate, it's just I dont think I (being white) would have got away with such a sterotypical statement against anyone of asian origin. But totally get that you were only joking and pobably I need to lighten up. Anyways, I'm off up that area this weekend so will give it a go I think...

If your going to bradford try some of this, it might help.

xs11as, Your still holding out on the big asian tip for curries.

Always ask for aapna style curry, rather than the stuff that has been tailored for the western palettes and you will get the most delicious curries as good as your granny makes.
