    Hi folks,

I picked the 5pm time as the email tends to finish sending by 4pm (barring retries where its rejecting first time) so it was the first time we can do it.

There is no time that's fair - if we did 8pm all those with only work access would complain. So its an arbitrary time but hope the deals enjoyed when it happens

  • Spotify is excellent FREE streaming software. If you visit the site it says you need an invite code....I do have a link to bypass this but as I'm a new member I'm not allowed to post links.

Maybe the site administrator could contact me and I could send the link to them to verify and add to this thread - I'm only trying to help
  • I think the plan is to make sure everyone has their newsletter before releasing the code, not to fit in with work hours.
  • Thanks for this guys! I will be trying to get it, if I remember lol! Tiger x

  • I only signed up for Spotify yesterday - a quick Google search revealed a website called Zath that tells you the link for setting up a Spotify account without an invite.

It seems a bit silly that Spotify have not encrypted that page, which makes me think it's all a ploy to make it seem exciting by having invites, but actually they want as many people as possible to register!

    FYI:

Linux users can't use Sky Songs, according to http://songs.sky.com/#help/faq.
  • understand why you might be suspicious, I can only say my motives were genuine. Martin's email and this offer reminded me that Spotify existed so I tried to get onto it. This is why I offered to send link to administrator to verify before posting. Have only been using Spotify for an hour so can't really review it at present, but from what I've heard it seems like a good idea, and a free stream (yes there are ads for the free version but so far I haven't found them to be obtrusive).

Also does 2 posts about Spotify constitute "lots" and we were all "newbies" at some point - just trying to offer some help - pls don't put me off at my first attempt :o
