  • Thanks to OP. Just spent over an hour choosing my songs! LOL! Such a difficult choice....
    Life's what you make it....

"I've got one, two, three, [STRIKE]four[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]five[/STRIKE]... senses working overtime..", XTC.

Life beyond voluntary work scares me, but what else is there?

Can we tell what bit-rate these are? I know it's free, I certainly wouldn't pay for anything less than 256k VBR. I'd rather buy a physical CD or download a lossless file.

Streaming output is via an AAC+ codec which streams at approximately 48kb/s. This can be equal to MP3 high quality output if this helps

AAC' is use is as the default audio format of Apple's iPhone, iPod, iTunes, and the format used for all iTunes Store audio.

    Hope that helps :D

  • Works a treat thanks very much! :T

I quite like the look of the layout of the site. It wil be interesting to see if Sky roll out a non-subscription service like itunes.

anyone one else had problem downloading !

have you downloaded and installed the Sky Download Manager app? It's through this interface that the download actually happens - the link you click on the site should activate it.

    And me, happy days!!
  • Just worked for me too. (22:00)hrs.

I currently subscribe to Napster and they have recently reduced their charges to £5.00 per month to stream with 5 free mp3's. I originally found a code online for a 30 day free trial, and when I came to cancel it, they gave me another 30 days free.

I've been really happy with Napster but am interested to see what this Sky thing is like.
  • Cant see what the problem is? I work too and have only just read my e-mail at home, its 10pm and I got a free month! no problem... Thanks for the free e-mails I have saved hundreds!!
