Most people take it for granted that everyone can read and write, or comprehend the small print. Our laws keep changing, our money keeps changing, our weights and measurs, our morals are being forced aside, causing TOTAL
Thats sounds good but can you have DD and SO coming out of it because after the banks have refunded the money then they close your account and you end up with out a bank account because you are classed as a debt problem.
Also it wasnt my fault entirely that I was over drawn, was very ill 4 years ago and wrote to them to explain my situation but they wasnt interested, I ended up having a liver transplant because of my immune system turning onto its self, so it is not by choice that I have a low income now.
A quick message to those of you who feel it is all our own fault then walk in my shoes for a week, sorry just had to get that out :mad:0 -
I have just received new T&Cs for my C&G savings account.
Normal 30 days notice applies unless certain xondtions apply, amongst which are, "we have some other good reason for closing your account immediatley".
C&G is part of LLoyds. If condtions such as that are applied liberally by other banks, it will gve some bad customers severe problems, especially if the bland "account closed" becomes "closed by bank". My fear is that the campaign may ultimately be a pyrrhic victory fir the claimers.0 -

You said 'recession we are presently in' nearly two years ago.
Necromancy to make a non-point not-withstanding, interest rates are still low, inflation is still low, as is unemployment.
I'm failing to see your 'case.'Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
I would say that he was right.
Two years ago, 1 in 5 were paying for their utility bills on credit cards. House prices were rising way beyond their worth.
Interest rates are low BECAUSE of recession. Unemployment, using the figures calculated the same way they were 15 years ago stands at 7.8 million!
I would have to argue that inflation is not low, sorry.
Your sig is even suggestive of recession.
Just because you didn't see the signs of it coming and he did, I don't think are reasons to claim necromancy.0
