Presently your on a 6-monthly billing cycle. Their link is www.eonenergy.com once you've signed up look at their online tarriffs - this will reduce the value of your current consumption by quite a fair amount.

How much you pay would depend on your consumption, and unfortunately there isn't enough infomation to give an accurate figure. For an average 2 up 2 down property with 2 occupants i'd normally suggest as a starting point £40.00 per month per fuel at this time of the year - adjusting higher or lower depending on if you think you're a high or low consumer. It's normally best to over estimate your consumption as generally it is easiler to obtain a refund than find estra funds to repay any shortfall.

Your direct debits should be assessed reguarly by your supplier to ensure they are suitable for your consumption, which is where the provision of regular meter readings can really help make sure the right descions are made. (I would also suggest you keep a check on your billa and payments and where you feel neccessary ask your supplier for a review just to make sure your paying sufficiently).

    Possibly but not necessarily Mynewt.

If the OP is on an online tariff then billing will be quarterly. Difficult to be sure from the limited info posted.

Akhlaq, let me know the tariff you are currently on and I can clear this up straight away.

Your quite right I have assumed he hasn't already signed up for online billing. I made that assumption as if he singed up for online access to his account he would have reiceved at least one e-mail by now about this service. (this assumes the OP checks his emails reguarly).

When did you open your account with e.on? if it was less than 3 months ago then it is unlikely that your first bill will have been produced yet.

    Good Morning akhlaq

Stewie_griffin is correct. If you have only recently joined us it is likely no bills have yet been issued.

If you log into your online account and have a look at the Account History page it will tell you when a bill is due.

Give us a call if you want a bill before this. Let us know up to date meter readings and we will be happy to issue an interim bill. :)

Just a heads up akhlaq; when a bill is raised an email is automatically sent to the email address advised when you registered with our website. This advises you a bill is ready to view.

Hope this helps. Give me a shout if I can help further. Will be happy to do so.

    Hi akhlaq

Thank you for your kind comments, they are much appreciated.

There are several different plans available with varying prices/discounts depending on the type of deal you are looking for. These include fixed prices, protected prices, online management and environmentally conscious tariffs.

From a purely money saving point of view, our cheapest current tariffs are the online ones. These involve paying with a Monthly Direct Debit and managing your account online. However, you may be looking for other factors.

I would suggest popping your annual usage in kilowatt hours on to one of the comparison sites. This will show you all the deals, both ours and other suppliers, currently available.

There will also be info on the benefits/drawbacks of each tariff. This will help you decide which plan best suits your needs.

Please be aware, if you decide to switch supplier we will not give you discount on the final bill. Therefore, a switch away needs to be timed to lessen the impact of this.

Hope this is ok akhlaq but, as before, let me know if I can help further. :)
