LOL! I guess it depends where in society you hang out.

As for the 0% for life: I've just spent 20 minutes with Google. It just isn't there, unless it's a secret "existing customer" offer... and the best I know of there is the 6.9% Barclaycard "for the life" BT.
It's either E-Platinum, or it flat doesn't exist.
Its on the front page 0% APR Fixed Forever!

Ignoring the 80 quid charge to get the card, theres a 5er a month fee. And it's not a visa/mastercard0 -
They're clearly following a loophole - no interest required, but oh, we'll charge you a flat fee - and again every month - for having it. As I said, Ryanair springs to mind.duggie1982 wrote: »
The only dubious benefit is that you don't need a credit check to get one and - er - isn't that why the world's in the sh't?You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -

There's also a £4.95 "monthly maintanence" fee as well as a £9.95pm fee if the account isn't used. Not to mention the £80 just for signing up to the thing.
Oh and the final icing on the cake. You can only use the card to buy products from their catalogue. You can't use it like a standard credit card.0 -
So I guess in summary, it's "no interest"binaryuniverse wrote: »There's also a £4.95 "monthly maintanence" fee as well as a £9.95pm fee if the account isn't used. Not to mention the £80 just for signing up to the thing.

e-platinum plus are in breach of the FSA guidelines which state any APR advertised should reflect the true cost of a purchase, taking into account interest, and account fees. This is why all of the cards that carry a monthly / annual fee are advertised with a very high APR even though they carry a low interest rate
Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

What I really love is this page http://e-platinumplus.co.uk/scores.php - on one hand, it's quite useful general information. On the other, considering "E-Platinum Plus is not a credit repair service; E-Credit Plus does not report your credit line to all of the credit bureaus listed in this article; E-Credit Plus does not give credit advice; this article is reprinted with the permission of Your Score Free.", it's pretty nigh pointless! You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0
