Nokia 6210 text message problem

Every time I try to send a text from my Nokia 6210 navigator, it stays in the outbox. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how do I fix it? I can receive texts ok and make and receive calls, it's just sending a text thats the problem. I'm not sure if I've knocked something off on the phone but I've tried to re-configure all the settings and I'm still having this problem.

best to check if your message centre number is correct, which network are you with and are you contract or payg?0

take your sim card out and clean it usually helps0
