what to do?

At the moment I am flexi 40 with T-mobile. I pay £30 a month instead of £40, as I got it on a special deal.
I am due an upgrade at the end of December, and really don't know what to do. I am in debt, and can't really justify paying the £40 it would be for flexi 40, however I do make a lot of calls, mainly cos I don't have a landline, and I need to call my therapist (mental health) twice a week.
My question is in the spirit of money saving do I get a PAYG phone or renew my contract? I have found it more expensive on PAYG in ther past as I use it so much, but at least you're not comitted to that contact outlay every month.
Thanks for any help

SIM only would be your best bet I feel depending on how many minutes you need- 600 plus internet and unlimited texts is 20 quid per month. That should cut your outgoings by around a tenner a month.

Shop around for £30 and less you can plenty of very good deals with plenty of mins, texts and even free internet and free phones.

They will be cashback deals but if you choose a good retailer, you are in safe hands as long as you make yourself aware of how cashbacks work.
  • Thanks, decided to go with Tesco mobile. They double your credit on PAYG, and you get half price calls/texts to you five "favourite numbers" Yes you have to buy the phone ( my next challenge LOL) Good reviews too.. oh and they us o2 masks so should be ok for reception

Why can't you use the phone you've already got? Even if you have to pay £10 to get it unlocked, it's still cheaper than buying another one.
  • The phone I've currently got is broken.. can't send texts on it LOL

Need to explain what you mean by that - it might be just your network settings need updating to make the texting work and thats a simple task.
